The Greater Boston Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1981, and solicits and receives charitable financial, as well as in-kind food, donations from corporations, foundations and individuals from throughout eastern Massachusetts. Eighty-nine cents of every dollar donated to GBFB is applied directly to its hunger-relief efforts.
