We distribute food and resources directly to those in need through our more than 70 direct service programs that serve our most vulnerable populations. Programs include:
Seniors are the fastest growing food insecure population. Our Brown Bag Program helps ensure they receive the nutritious food they need to stay healthy.
One in nine children face hunger in our community. Our school-based pantries provide food at convenient and safe school locations for children and families.
Through free mobile markets, we directly distribute healthy food to isolated communities and populations at high-risk of hunger.
GBFB supports seniors in need by leveraging all available resources, including the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), which is a federal program designed to help low-income seniors access healthy food provided by USDA.
SNAP (formerly the Food Stamp Program) is a federal program that helps individuals and families buy the food needed for good health. GBFB can help you apply.
