We distribute food and resources directly to those in need through our more than 70 direct service programs across Eastern Massachusetts that serve our most vulnerable populations. We also offer assistance with applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps. Learn more about our programs:

Brown Bag Program

Seniors are the fastest growing food insecure population. Our Brown Bag Program helps ensure they receive the nutritious food they need to stay healthy.

GBFB supports seniors in need by leveraging all available resources, including the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), which is a federal program designed to help low-income seniors access healthy food provided by USDA.
