GBFB relies on the generosity of local companies and their employees to distribute more than 50 million meals to our neighbors in need. You and your colleagues can join these efforts by participating in a wide variety of workplace giving programs.
Here are a few ways that you can give to GBFB at work:
- Give through automatic payroll deductions. Many companies allow employees to direct a portion of their paycheck to the charity of their choice. Every time you get paid, you put food on someone’s table!
- Organize a company-wide fund drive. Virtual fund drives are a great way for employees to work together to achieve a fundraising goal. GBFB will provide your company with a personalized fundraising website through which donations can be made.
- Submit your gifts for a company match. Many companies will match employees’ donations dollar for dollar. Getting your personal donations matched by your employer doubles the impact of your gift!
- Submit your volunteer hours for a company match. Some companies will make a grant to an organization after an employee has volunteered. By volunteering at GBFB’s warehouse and submitting your hours to your employer, you will play an important role in the many aspects of our food distribution efforts.
