Good Food for a Great Cause: A Tasty Evening to Help End Hunger

Published on June 5, 2025

GBFB’s signature fundraiser, Taste of the Food Bank, made it’s return in the new format in May 2025. With more than 30 accomplished chefs, mixologists, and wine, beer, and spirit producers serving their signature refreshments, guests were able to experience the best of Boston’s culinary scene while supporting GBFB’s mission to end hunger across Eastern Massachusetts.

Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors, the culinary community and attendees, more than 1 million dollars was raised to fuel GBFB’s Eastern Massachusetts food distribution network. The incredible fundraising support received will help provide more than 2 million meals for our neighbors in need throughout the region.

The energy throughout the evening was electric! Guests mingled with the region’s renowned chefs and mixologists, including two 2025 James Beard Award Semifinalists, tasted mouthwatering dishes, bid on exciting auction items, and danced the night away with DJ Kristaval.
