Hunger Free Campus Coalition Lobby Day

GBFB co-leads the Massachusetts Hunger Free Campus Coalition (HFCC), a statewide organization with the goal of ending food insecurity on public and state campuses around MA. On March 30, the HFCC hosted a successful lobby day at the statehouse, joined by over 60 students and advocates from around the state. Students led advocacy meetings with legislators to communicate the campaign’s priorities of securing $4 million in the FY24 state budget and co-sponsoring the Hunger Free Campus Initiative (S835 / H1293).
