Young Professionals Kick Off the Holiday Season!

Published on November 16, 2018

Thirty-two floors above downtown Boston, The Greater Boston Food Bank’s young professional group, Kitchen Cabinet, celebrated the start of the holiday season and raised $14,000 to help feed our neighbors in need.

Kitchen Cabinet hosted its inaugural Holiday Party on Thursday, November 7 at the UMass Club. More than 70 attendees joined the group for a night socializing, music, silent auction prizes and more, benefiting The Greater Boston Food Bank’s (GBFB) Holiday Meal Drive fundraiser.

“It was great to see so many attend our holiday event,” said GBFB Senior Development Associate Brian Teague, who manages the Kitchen Cabinet. “Being there with familiar faces made the experience more rewarding because we were able to build relationships and support the organization.”
