Kindergarten students at St. Joseph’s Elementary School in Needham recently sent us handwritten letters and illustrations to “honor our hard work and commitment toward ending hunger.”
Everyone at GBFB appreciates these wonderful letters! You can view them below:
Part of our work to end hunger involves ensuring young students always have an opportunity for a healthy school breakfast.
On June 3, The Joint Committee on Education has scheduled a public hearing on Breakfast After the Bell legislation. If passed, Breakfast After the Bell would provide healthy breakfast after the start of the school day to more than 150,000 low-income Massachusetts students currently without access to breakfast allowing these kids to have a positive start to the day.
