Upcoming Event
Music for Food: A Musicians' Initiative Against Hunger
Music for Food, in this Second Season, proves to gather a fast-growing audience. Under Kim Kashkashian's charismatic leadership, fellow Musicians keep joining forces and the initiative conquers hearts and donations of a diverse audience. Music for Food promises to be a far spreading movement, already represented in other cities.
The Music for Food leading Musicians have also obtained the generous involvement of the New England Conservatory and of dedicated students. Those are noted accomplishments for a start-up initiative, beyond an audience-packed auditorium, balcony included, on the first concert of the season.
Kim Kashkashian and the core group of Musicians around her will give 100% of the donations gathered to GBFB, and even more importantly, turning the attention of their audience to the great work of the GBFB. Music for Food is a heart-elevating loud speaker: it's prime purpose is raising awareness, speaking of hunger, focusing the attention of their audiences on the GBFB's work in our communities.
