Open House: Class A Drivers and Warehouse Associates

Open HouseThe Greater Boston Food Bank will host an open house on Thursday, September 28, 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., for applicants interested in open positions on our Transportation and Warehouse teams.

Applicants are invited to GBFB’s warehouse for interviews, a tour, and the potential to receive a preliminary offer of employment. Attendees are encouraged to submit an application before coming but can also apply on site. GBFB is located at 70 South Bay Avenue, Boston, MA, within walking distance from the Andrew MBTA Station. Free parking is available.

Class A Driver

GBFB is seeking applicants with a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DMV-certified documentation of an excellent driving record. Applicants should have about 5 years or more of continuous Class A & B CDL driving experience, with an emphasis on vehicle lift gate and vehicle refrigeration.

Warehouse Associate

GBFB is seeking applicants who have previously worked in an distribution center and who have experience with forklifts and pallet jack riders. GBFB Warehouse Associates are responsible for safely performing material handling functions throughout our warehouse. Each Associate is fully responsible for safety, cleanliness, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance in our facility.
