Volunteers at The Greater Boston Food Bank play a critical role in helping to end hunger in Eastern Massachusetts, and their role is even more critical now given the COVID-19 crisis. GBFB is committed to keeping our network in operation and getting food to our neighbors in need during this crisis but we can’t do that without you.
Face masks are required inside GBFB facilities and on the property, and social distancing still needs to be observed. While the Commonwealth has issued new mask guidelines effective May 29, our current GBFB policies remain unchanged. GBFB will continue to monitor the situation and adjust policies and practices accordingly.
Monday – Saturday: 9 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 4 pm
Boston Cares is partnering with GBFB to provide centralized volunteer recruitment and coordination to meet the emerging needs of our network of partner hunger-relief agencies, including food pantries, community meal programs and other food assistance providers throughout the nine counties and 190 towns and cities across Eastern Massachusetts.
