Since joining GBFB in 1995, Catherine has led with vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to equity. Under her leadership, GBFB has evolved from a regional food distributor into a national model for health-focused, data-driven, and community-centered hunger relief—serving 600,000 people each month and distributing more than 90 million healthy meals through 600+ partners across Eastern Massachusetts. During often turbulent times, she has been a steady hand and guiding voice, expanding access to nutritious food, strengthening the statewide food security network, and elevating the anti-hunger mission to key decision-makers.
