Required Service Thank you for choosing to do your community service with The Greater Boston Food Bank. We accept both court-ordered and school required community service volunteers on a case by case basis. All court-ordered volunteers must be approved by the Volunteer Department before beginning their service. Please contact us at 617-427-5200 ext. 5096. Once you have completed your service the Volunteer Department would be happy to give you a letter stating the number of hours you completed. For detailed instructions on applying for community service at The Greater Boston Food Bank click here. If you have separate paperwork please indicate that on the application.
