Please note:
If you do not require documentation of community service hours, you are welcome to volunteer as a walk-in on any Monday-Saturday open shift. Please e-mail volunteer@gbfb.org at least 48 hours in advance to make sure we are open for the shift you desire to volunteer.
We appreciate your time and thank you for joining us in the fight to end hunger! As an individual, we thought it would be helpful for you to have some basic information on hand to structure your time during your upcoming volunteer visit.
For your first step, we need you to fill out the individual volunteer application. Once you have submitted an application, you are free to come and volunteer with us as a walk-in, without an appointment, based on our standard shift times.
Schedule:
NOTE: To save you a wasted trip, please confirm that we will be open for sorting by calling the day before 617-427-5200 ext. 5096 or by checking with the Reclamation Supervisor when you are here to make sure that we will be open the next time you volunteer.
Volunteer shifts:
Morning shift: 9:30am-12:00pm
