The Kitchen Cabinet is a group of young professionals who are passionate about The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) and ending hunger in our community. The Kitchen Cabinet is designed for socially conscious young professionals in their 20s and 30s, who are deeply committed to a healthy and hunger-free Eastern Massachusetts.
Members contribute an annual tax-deductible donation of $360. We encourage Kitchen Cabinet members to join our Sustainers Circle to fulfill this commitment with $30 recurring monthly donations. Your membership gift will make it possible for GBFB to provide more than 1,000 nutritious meals to our neighbors in need.
Members are also expected to complete 12 hours of volunteering at GBFB or one of our partner agencies across Eastern Massachusetts. This can be completed by participating in Kitchen Cabinet volunteer programs or independently of the group.
The Kitchen Cabinet Steering Committee is the leadership team of the Kitchen Cabinet. The Kitchen Cabinet Steering Committee reinforces GBFB’s work by hosting social, volunteer and educational events, as well as developing and supporting initiatives that raise funds and broaden GBFB’s support base among young professionals in their 20s and 30s.
The Greater Boston Food Bank is currently recruiting Steering Committee members.
