The following information is helpful to hunger-relief agencies within The Greater Boston Food Bank's distribution network.
Times of operation
Our Boston warehouse shopping hours are Tuesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays. Boston office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Satellite Distribution Hours are:
Harwich: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Wednesdays-10:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Natick: 2nd Thursday & 4th Wednesday - 9:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
New Bedford: 2nd Tuesday- 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Middleboro: 4th Tuesday - 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Salem: 3rd Thursday - 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Taunton: 2nd, 3rd & 4th Mondays - 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All holidays and closed days will be listed on the Message Board page of your preorder. Satellite distribution dates may change due to holidays.

Each member agency must have at least one staff member or volunteer who is an authorized shopper at The Food Bank. This document provides more information about Shopper Orientation.

Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program
MEFAP is a state funded program that The Greater Boston Food Bank uses to purchase foods that are distributed free to all eligible emergency food providers on an "agency choice" basis and to sponsor nutrition education initiatives. The MEFAP program is a supplementary food assistance program in nature and is not intended to cover all needs of an agency.
