Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director plans, directs and coordinates all HR functions of The Food Bank; training, recruitment, compensation, benefits and employee relations.

The director of development leads a department charged with responsibility of securing all the needed annual operating support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. All private support solicited by the organization falls to this department’s responsibility and, in such, is critical to the success of the operation.

Member Services Assistant

To provide high-level, direct customer service support to member agencies by the coordination through the pre-appointment process and through partnership building with member agencies.

Executive Associate to EVP of Marketing and Development

Provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President for Marketing and Development. This includes daily operation support of the office of the EVP, general administrative support to advance the organization’s development and marketing efforts, particularly the capital campaign.

Accounting Manager

Supervise the day to day accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, assist the Controller in month-end bank and G/L account reconciliations, along with supporting the month end close.

Member Services Manager – Member Compliance Monitor and Community Liaison

Ensure member agencies are in compliance with Feeding America and USDA/TEFAP guidelines for food safety, storage, client eligibility and The Greater Boston Food Bank membership criteria. Proactively engage member agencies by establishing rapport and readily responding to program needs for on-going support of The Greater Boston Food Bank partnership to fight hunger in eastern Massachusetts. Provide strategies and education to member agencies on how to equitably distribute food and grocery products to the counties in our service area to meet the needs of all food-insecure persons.

Facilities Technician

Primary point of contact for all facilities maintenance issue affecting the operation of 70 South Bay Avenue. This includes all preventive maintenance schedules and permits as well as trouble shooting problems from roof leaks; HVAC malfunctions; refrigeration; electrical issues; plumbing; repairs and the like. This function is also primary contact for the scheduling and interface with our cleaning company.

Warehouse Manager

Manage the warehousing and distribution of donated and purchased food throughout The Greater Boston Food Bank's service area to agency members; inventory procedures as they relate to good warehousing and food safety; streamlined operations through best practices, training and warehouse management system optimization; leadership and coaching of warehouse staff.

Inventory Manager

Responsible for daily management of inventory and inventory-related transactions in the warehouse through efficiency, accuracy, and completeness in receiving, picking, and shipping. Timely reconciliation of all inventory exceptions in order to achieve a daily goal of 99% inventory accuracy. Training staff in the inventory process/transactions/procedures to achieve accurate inventory that improves warehouse processes.
