Our food acquisition professionals know your industry and will make the donation process work smoothly and efficiently for you. That's our pledge. Our product donation managers specialize in general food donations, produce donations, and perishable or prepared food donations - from a couple of boxes to multiple truck loads. We can schedule an appointment to receive food or grocery products directly into our storage facility Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
The Food Bank will distribute your donation to our hundreds of member agencies throughout eastern Massachusetts. The result? Your food donation becomes part of a comprehensive hunger solution that feeds more than 320,000 hungry men, women, and children each year.
Every day we collect fresh, canned, boxed, and frozen foods, as well as grocery products, and distribute them from our warehouse to nine counties throughout eastern Massachusetts. We also rescue properly prepared and perishable food from restaurants, caterers, hotels, corporate cafeterias, and universities, which is then delivered directly to member agencies throughout Greater Boston.
When a donation is made, our product donation team dispatches one of our refrigerated trucks that maintains food in temperature-controlled storage. This food is made available to hunger-relief agencies within 24 hours of receipt. This is just one of the many ways in which The Food Bank mirrors the business practices and standards of companies like yours.
